2003 ASM will defend his victory at the 2005
ASM @ Palm Resort which will showcase a mix of some
of the best senior professional golfers from Australia, Europe,
Asia and other international golfing talent.

The 2005 ASM is anticipated
to host such golfing legends as the European Seniors Tour’s
Terry
Gale then ranked Number 3 on
the EST’s
2003 Order of Merit and other worthy contenders such as,
Graham Marsh, and possibly Stewart
Ginn.
Asian players including - V. Nellan (Malaysia),
Hsieh Min Nan (Taiwan), E. Nival (Philippines), Choi Yoon
Soo), Chen Tse-ming, Hsu Chi-san, and Kuo Chi-Hsiung (Taiwan)
Sukiree Oncham (Thailand), and Choi
Sang-ho (Korea) winner of the recent US$500,000
Maekyung Open has also confirmed that he will contest
the 2005 ASM @ Palm Resort. Choi's victory, made him the oldest
winner on the Asian Tour.
The professional 2005 ASM
will be preceded by 6 ASM Pro-Am's played as 4 ball flight,
in a 3 Amateur & 1 Pro format T-Off at 8am on Tues 8th,
Wed 9th & Thurs 10th Nov 2005 where avid golfers will
have the opportunity to share their experience with golfing

Each of the 6 ASM Pro-Ams
will feature a team competition, the team
score for each hole will be the Pros plus the 2 best gross
scores for each hole from the 3 amateurs in the team –
flight. There will also be an individual competition where
the 9 lowest gross scoring individual participants
from each ASM Pro-Am will qualify to compete
in the Amateur Semi-Finals.

To cater to overseas
based amateur golfers, many who will be accompanying participating
senior professional, we have created various ASM
Pro-Am and ASM Social Golf Packages.
The packages vary in duration, and can include
up to 6 nights hotel accommodation, inclusive of breakfast,
lunch & tea and are designed to cater to amateur golfers
wishing to take part in 2 ASM Pro-Ams and
play up to 3 rounds of social golf on some of Johor’s
beautiful courses. The cost for the 6 night – 7 day

Individual places, 2 man teams and 4 ball
flights may be purchased in the ASM – Open Pro-Am
Qualifier to be staged to be staged on the Alameda
course in the afternoon on Tues 10th Nov 2005. The event to
be played OFF THE STICK will cater for up
to 128 participants, with the top 9 "best gross"
scoring individual participants and the top 2 teams secure
places in the ASM Pro-Ams.
4 ball flights in the ASM Open Pro-Am

Asian Senior Masters Pro-Ams
and the ASM Pro-Am Qualifier events are open
to both male and female participants who must be at least
12 years of age and posses valid golf handicaps, and all participants
are invited to attend the 2005 ASM Welcome Cocktail
Reception to be held on Tues 8th Nov 2005
commencing at 7.30pm during which prize giving for the ASM
Pro-Am Qualifier and the ASM Open Pro-Am
Qualifier events will be held.
The Amateur Semi-Finals
will be contested on Fri 11th & Sat 12th Nov 2005 on the
first two days of the ASM professional tournament, and as
was the case at the 2003 ASM. Qualifying amateur golfers will
compete alongside Senior PGA golfers in a 3 Pro & 1 amateur
4 ball on the first two days of the 2005 ASM pro tournament.
On Sun 13th Nov 2005, the ASM will feature
the top 3 best gross scoring amateur golfers
from the Fri 11th & Sat 12th Nov 2005 Amateur
Semi-Finals 6 amateur finalists will compete in a
play off and will T Off at 7am prior to the 2005 ASM
@ Palm Resort professional finals on Sun
6th Nov 2005.
The ASM Pro-Am and ASM Player packages includes

to pit your skills & mettle against senior professional
golfers from around the world.
